Masta Ace Incorporated - Crazy Drunken Style (1993) sampled Jim Sullivan - Rosey (1969)

Artist:  Masta Ace Incorporated
Song:  Crazy Drunken Style
Year:  1993
Album:  SlaughtaHouse

Masta Ace is an icon, a legend and probably has the best live show I've ever seen.  Originally known as Master Ace and part of the Juice Crew, he later formed Masta Ace Incorporated which included Lord Digga.  These two exchange rhymes on this track which features great vocal samples and two loops of music.

Artist:  Jim Sullivan
Song:  Rosey
Year:  1969
Album:  U.F.O.

At the intersection of folk music and David Axelrod is Jim Sullivan.  He made this great album called U.F.O. in 1969 and 6 years later he mysteriously disappeared in New Mexico.  Some say he was abducted by a U.F.O.  The first sample heard on the Masta Ace track is a one-bar loop that appears at 0:00.  The main sample appears at 0:28.
